Groundbreaking ceremony for the Lachin Cable Car Line

On May 27, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation for the Lachin Cable Car Line.

Given Lachin’s stunning natural landscape and tourism potential, special attention is being paid to the development of tourism infrastructure in the district. The Lachin Cable Car Line, created for this purpose, will be located in the Boulevard area of the city and will consist of two sections.

The cable car will have a height of 300 meters and a total length of 1,720 meters, with a travel time of 6 minutes. Comprising 17 cabins in total, the cable car line will have the capacity to serve 800 passengers per hour.
