On May 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Gulluja village in the Aghdam district. The head of state laid the foundation for the Gulluja village.
The village will cover an area of 388.44 hectares and is planned to accommodate 3,992 residents. 1042 private houses will be built in this village, which will consist of the territory of Gulluja and Ilkhichilar villages. In the first phase, the planned area will cover 225 hectares. It is planned to relocate 113 families here. 22 of the 113 houses to be built in the village durig the first phase will have two rooms, 57 will have three rooms, 28 will have four rooms, and 6 will have five rooms. Additionally, the village will feature a school building with a capacity of 480 students, a kindergarten for 120 children, a medical station, a community center, a commercial center, a bazaar, a sports and wellness center, an administrative building, a multifunctional building (including a post office, bank branch, and office), a livestock farm, a fire station (with 2 fire trucks), a village square, a Flag Square, and a bakery.
