Groundbreaking ceremony for the Gulabird village

On May 4, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the village of Gulabird in the Lachin district. During the ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of the village.

A total of 581 families are planned to be settled in the Gulabird village. The total area of the planned site is 172 hectares. In the first phase, individual houses will be built to relocate 150 families to the village. The houses to be constructed in the village will have two, three, four, and five rooms. The two-room houses will have an area of 70 square meters, three-room houses 88 square meters, four-room houses 103 square meters, and the two-story five-room houses will have an area of 120 square meters. Additionally, a 432-seat school and an 80-seat kindergarten will be built.
