Groundbreaking ceremony for the administrative building in Zangilan

On May 4, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the administrative building in the city of Zangilan. During the ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation for the administrative building.

The three-story administrative building is located in the center of Zangilan city, at the intersection of main streets. The internal layout of the administrative building includes an atrium. The sequential structure of the building combines two sections. The facade structure of the administrative building, shaped like wind turbines, is arranged along the edge of the roof. The roof is covered with solar panels. The roof’s design allows for natural lighting inside the building and provides additional space for hosting large events. The building will house various types of meeting and training rooms, as well as multifunctional service areas will be created in the building where local offices, departments and divisions of a number of state and government institutions will operate.
