Groundbreaking ceremony for Kalbajar city park

On August 21, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremony for Kalbajar city park.

In accordance with the city’s comprehensive Master Plan, the newly designed park complex will cover an area of approximately 11 hectares, of which around 9 hectares will be dedicated to green spaces. The park will include designated zones for public and cultural events in the district, sports and wellness areas, as well as entertainment and adventure facilities for children.

According to the project, the park’s territory will also feature an above-ground parking lot, a rail sled track, restaurants, cafés, an amphitheater, and other essential infrastructure facilities.
