Groundbreaking ceremony for a 600-seat secondary school in Gubadli

On May 4, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremony for a 600-seat secondary school in the city of Gubadli. During the ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of the school building.

The school will be constructed in the village of Dondarlı, Gubadli city, and the adjacent open area. The educational facility and its open areas will be surrounded by residential zones. The sports facilities and playgrounds on the school grounds will also be accessible to the public in the evenings and on weekends. The school building is designed using modular classrooms. The interiors, illuminated with natural light, will minimize the school’s energy requirements.
