Foundation of the Horadiz-Aghband Railway Line

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva, during their visit to Fuzuli, Lachin and Jabrayil regions on February 14,  attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Horadiz-Aghband railway line in Jabrayil district.

With a total length of 100 kilometers, The Horadiz-Agband railway line has crucial strategic importance. This transport infrastructure will play an important role in the transportation of Azerbaijani citizens to the liberated lands and, more importantly, will significantly contribute to establishing a direct railway connection link between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

During the visit, the head of state laid the foundation for the Horadiz-Aghband railway line.
