Foundation of the Digital Substation in the Zangilan District

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended a groundbreaking ceremony for Digital Substation in the Zangilan district on October 20. President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation for the Digital Substation during the ceremony.

240 km of 35/10 kV transmission lines and 1,050 km of 0.4 kV transmission lines will be completely reconstructed. Unlike the traditional supply chain, the new structured network remains more cost-effective. All facilities will be available in the newly created network for the infrastructure of the “Smart City” and “Smart Village” projects.
