Concert dedicated to May 28 – Independence Day

On May 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif attended a concert program dedicated to May 28 – Independence Day in the city of Lachin.

The event began with the national anthems of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Pakistan. In his speech, President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the unity and solidarity of the three brotherly countries and described the liberation of Lachin after 30 years of occupation as the restoration of historical justice.President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his address, referred to the idea of “three states, one nation,” and regarded Azerbaijan’s victory as a success for the entire Turkic world. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highly praised the restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and affirmed that Pakistan would always stand by brotherly Azerbaijan.

At the end of the event, a concert program featuring musical performances from all three countries was presented.
