On April 26, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham met with Annalena Baerbock, the Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany, in Berlin. During the meeting, Annalena Baerbock emphasized Germany’s continued support for the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the significance of the meeting held between Armenia and Azerbaijan with the support of the German Chancellor in the framework of the Munich Security Conference and noted that the discussions held during this meeting had provided a substantial impetus for the process of border delimitation and demarcation. The head of state emphasized that with the support of the German foreign minister negotiations on a peace treaty are being conducted between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and this is an important step for the peace treaty negotiations to move forward. President Ilham Aliyev affirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to continue its efforts towards advancing the peace agenda and reiterated the country’s dedication to the peace process.
