Bilateral meeting

On June 17, a meeting was held between President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, in the Aghali village, Zangilan District.

During the meeting, President Ilham Aliyev welcomed the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Minnikhanov and expressed his pleasure for the commencement of the first project of the Aras Valley Industrial Park, also expressed gratitude for Tatarstan’s contribution to the restoration of the liberated territories and expressed hope that the cooperation program agreed upon between the parties would be fully implemented and highlighted that the longstanding brotherhood and friendship between the Tatar and Azerbaijani peoples significantly contribute to strengthening the friendly and allied relations between Russia and Azerbaijan.
