Acquaintance with the Works Carried out within the Framework of the “Smart Village” Project in Zangilan

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan got acquainted with the works carried out within the framework of the “Smart Village” project implemented in Aghali village of the Zangilan district on October 26.

Regarding the implementation of the project, construction works are being carried out on an area of more than 110 hectares. Using innovative building materials, the construction of 200 fully isolated individual eco-friendly houses, four two-storey non-residential buildings, a school for 360 pupils, and a kindergarten for 60 seats continues at a high pace. Modern urban planning standards will be applied in the “Smart Village.” Pedestrian and bicycle paths will be built.

A number of works related to the organization and development of agriculture will be carried out here. The land areas that will be used to manufacture agricultural products have been determined, and the list of necessary innovative techniques has been prepared. Modern irrigation systems will be used in “Smart Agriculture.” According to the planting plan, relevant works have been done to clear 412 hectares of the determined 600-hectare from mines. The “Smart management system” will be implemented here from the data and analysis center.
