Acquaintance with the works carried out in the village of Zabukh and meeting with residents

On August 26, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the works done in the village of Zabukh of the Lachin district and met with the residents of the village.

It is planned to relocate 245 families to the village of Zabukh, which has a total area of ​​81 hectares. In the initial phase, 223 families will be relocated. Additionally, several infrastructure buildings have been constructed to ensure the comfort and employment of the village residents. A 50-seat kindergarten, an administrative building, and a medical center was built in the village. Green energy is used for the lighting of homes, social facilities, and streets in Zabukh.

As of August 25, 20 families—88 individuals have returned to their native village of Zabukh. The head of state and First Lady met and conversed with the village residents.
