Acquaintance with the works carried out from the 38th to the 76th kilometer section of the Kalbajar–Lachin highway

On August 25, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the works carried out from the 38th to the 76th kilometer section of the Kalbajar–Lachin highway.

The construction of the new 75.8-kilometer-long road is progressing rapidly and will be 32 kilometers shorter than the existing road. This road of 1st and 2nd technical grades is being constructed with two and four lanes. The construction of 17 tunnels with a total length of 13.3 kilometers is planned on the new road. Additionally, 23 bridges with a total length of 4,163 meters are also being constructed along the road.
