Acquaintance with the Works being Carried out at the Mehmandarovs’ Estate Complex

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the current restoration work carried out by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation at the Mehmandarovs’ Estate Complex in Shusha on May 10.

The restoration process at the estate complex, which was seriously damaged during the occupation and destroyed by the Armenians, is being carried out on the basis of the evaluation works conducted by experts. The complex includes a mosque and small and large residential houses. In the past period, the estate’s roof was installed in accordance with the original one, and all the stones of the building, balconies, as well as the fallen domes, roof, and mihrab of the mosque included in the complex, were restored. Restoration of the spring in the complex’s courtyard has been completed, and preparations for landscaping have been made.
