On March 18, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Memorial Stone in the Talish village of the Tartar district.

Under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, the valiant Azerbaijani Army liberated this strategic area from the enemy on October 3, 2020. The Memorial Stone, inscribed with the text of the tweet shared by the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief on the day this area was liberated, is located at a high point in the Talish village.
