Acquaintance with the tourism development concept of the Hadrut settlement

On May 5, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were briefed on the tourism development concept of the Hadrut settlement.

It was stated that the State Tourism Agency plans to prioritize the restoration and renovation of the central quarter in the historical part of the settlement to develop tourism in Hadrut.

Within the framework of the restoration and conservation works in the historical part of Hadrut, the initial phase will involve the restoration of a temple belonging to the historical-cultural heritage of Caucasian Albania, along with three adjacent buildings and the renovation of the area.

The head of state and the First Lady were also informed about the Tourism Information Center. According to the information, a historical property located in the central part of Hadrut is planned to be restored and operated as a Tourism Information Center. The center will provide information to the first groups of tourists visiting Hadrut about tourism sites in the settlement and surrounding villages. The Tourism Information Center will consist of two sections. The first section will serve as a reception area for tourists, and the second section will function as an office for tourism workers.
