Acquaintance with the small livestock detention facility

On August 25, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the operation of the small livestock detention facility in the Lachin district.

During the visit, it was noted that five modular equipment for sheep slaughtering and three for cow slaughtering were installed here. The facility’s annual production capacity allows for the slaughter of 17,000 animals. The production area includes spaces for slaughtering, cleaning entrails, cooling rooms, cutting into smaller portions, and packaging containers. The facility will employ 30 people.
