Acquaintance with the restoration work carried out in Kangarli village

On September 19, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the restoration work carried out in Kangarli village of the Aghdam district.

The foundation of Kangarli village, located 6 kilometers from the city of Aghdam, was laid by President Ilham Aliyev on October 4, 2022. It is planned to settle 2,544 people (632 families) in the village. The total projected area is 177.2 hectares. Taking into account the number of people to be settled here, 72.5 hectares of land have been allocated for the first phase of the construction of residential neighborhoods. In the first stage, 292 individual houses are being built to resettle 1,279 people.

Demolition and vertical planning works have already been completed in the village. In addition, the earthworks, foundations, and masonry work of 292 private houses and the exterior finishing works of 278 private houses have been completed. Currently, interior decoration works are being carried out, furniture and equipment are being installed in 94 individual houses. The construction of the village’s central communication system and road infrastructure is also ongoing.
