Acquaintance with the reconstruction works to be carried out in the village of Dashalti, Shusha district

On July 21, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inspected the planned reconstruction works in the village of Dashalti, Shusha district, and laid the foundation for a new residential complex and tourism facilities to be built with private investment.

The restoration of Dashalti village, which holds strategic importance for Shusha city, is one of the primary objectives. The planned works will cover an area of nearly 65 hectares. It is planned to relocate 220 families to this area. The total population to be settled will be 1100 people. To accommodate the residents, a total of 228 houses will be built, including nine two-story multi-apartment buildings, 66 two-story townhouse-style homes, and 153 two-story individual houses. The village will also feature a mosque, a flag square, an information center, a guest house, workshops for folk crafts, food sales kiosks, public dining and trade facilities, an exhibition hall, a kindergarten, an administrative building, a medical center, a post office, a club-community center, a hotel, and recreational centers, as well as active tourism and recreational areas.

The construction of the houses and tourism facilities in the investment zone for the private sector in the village of Dashalti is being carried out by PMD Group LLC. A village-style hotel and recreation center will be built on a 2.4-hectare area in Dashalti. The hotel complex will consist of ten two-story buildings. The hotel complex consisting of 48 rooms will also feature a restaurant, entertainment and sports-wellness centers, a children’s playground, and a recreational park.
