Acquaintance with the Public Catering Facilities in the “Smart Village”

On May 27, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the Zangilan branch of “Kapital Bank” OJSC, agricultural laboratories, veterinary and plant protection departments, and other public catering facilities in Aghali village square.

Modern urban planning standards have been applied in Agali village. This concept includes “smart” street lighting, hot and cold-resistant environmental housing construction, waste management, and solar panel installation. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva viewed one of the three-room houses built in the village.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the work done at Gillmed sewing factory, a family health center (medical center), a 60-seat one-story kindergarten, 360-seat two-story village secondary school building, “smart agriculture” techniques presented by “Agroservis” OJSC, the “Archimedes” type hydroelectric station, the artificial lake for the production of alternative energy, and the work carried out in the hotel complex consisting of 62 rooms in Aghali village.
