Acquaintance with the Progress of Works at the Kalbajar Small Hydroelectric Power Station

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, during his visit to Kalbajar and Lachin districts on August 16, viewed the progress of works at the Kalbajar Small Hydroelectric Power Station.

The Kalbajar-1 Small Hydroelectric Power Station with a capacity of 4.4 MW on the Lev River in the Kalbajar district is being completely reconstructed; the station’s machine room, unit, generator, control panels, and transformers are being upgraded. The 1.3km section of the destroyed plastic water pipe, which transfers water to the hydraulic unit, is being replaced with 1.8 diameter metal pipes. Work has been completed on the station’s engine room and 110/6 kilovolt substation. The Kalbajar-1 Small Hydroelectric Power Station, which was destroyed and burned by the Armenians, is being completely rebuilt, and the work is to be completed in the coming months.
