Acquaintance with the ongoing construction at Aghdam City Secondary School No. 1

On February 18, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the ongoing construction at Aghdam City Secondary School No. 1.

The new school building, with a total construction area of over 4,300 square meters, consists of three floors. The school, foundation of which was laid in May 2021, is designed to accommodate 960 students. The facility will include a library, a museum, two cafeterias, subject-specific classrooms, as well as laboratories for physics, chemistry, and biology, an auditorium, sports halls, and 8 STEAM rooms. The school’s construction is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
