Acquaintance with the major repair of the Sugovushan water reservoir and the cental water channel and the construction of tourism infrastructure facilities

On March 18, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, first lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughter Arzu Aliyeva got acquainted with the major repair of the Sugovushan reservoir and the main water channel originating from it, as well as the construction of tourism infrastructure facilities created along the reservoir.

Within the framework of the First State Program, major repair and reconstruction projects for key infrastructure facilities have begun, including the Suqovushan reservoir and the main water channel originating from it. Currently, concrete covering is being applied to the walls of the reservoir, all equipment is undergoing major repairs, and necessary work is being carried out on the main channel. Initial tourism infrastructure facilities are being created along the Suqovushan reservoir. A Tourism Information Bureau is being built, and a coastal park is under construction, along with a parking lot.
