Acquaintance with the construction of the Istisu mineral water bottling plant

On August 25, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the construction of the Istisu mineral water plant in the Kalbajar district.

The Kalbajar Istisu mineral water bottling plant was originally built in 1981. The plant ceased operations in late 1991. The new Istisu plant will cover an area of 7.8 thousand square meters. Approximately 100 people will be employed at the facility on a two-shift basis. The plant will feature glass and plastic packaging production lines supplied by a German company. The nominal capacity of the glass bottling line will be 16,000 units per hour, while the nominal capacity of the plastic bottling line will be 8,000 units per hour. The plant’s monthly production capacity will be nearly 8 million units.
