Acquaintance with the construction of the 27-kilometer section of the Ahmadbeyli–Fuzuli–Shusha highway

On July 20, during his visit to the Fuzuli district, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev examined the construction of the 1st technical grade Ahmadbeyli–Fuzuli–Shusha highway’s 27-kilometer section up to the Fuzuli International Airport.

As part of the project for the reconstruction and restoration of the liberated territories, the construction project of the Ahmadbeyli–Fuzuli–Shusha highway is progressing rapidly. The length of the existing road is 101 kilometers, while the new road will be 81.7 kilometers long. The 48-kilometer section up to the Tugh circle will have six lanes, and the 33.7-kilometer section will have four lanes. Major infrastructure work has been fully completed on the 27-kilometer section that was inspected.
