Acquaintance with the Conditions Created at the Newly Commissioned Military Unit of the Defense Ministry in the Fuzuli District

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Victorious Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev viewed conditions created at a newly commissioned military unit of the Ministry of Defense in the territory of Fuzuli district on November 7.

After the report of Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov to the President of Azerbaijan, Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the head of state laid flowers at a memorial complex erected in honor of the martyrs in the military camp and planted a tree there. President Ilham Aliyev viewed the conditions created in the headquarters of the military camp, barracks, soldiers’ canteen, and gym, as well as in the apartments and posed for a group photo with the servicemen, and congratulated them on 8 November Victory Day.

Informing about the work done in the military camp, Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov noted that to ensure the service and living conditions of the personnel there are a headquarters, a canteen, a medical center, a soldiers’ barracks, a bath-laundry, a parking lot, warehouses for various purposes, as well as other infrastructure facilities in the territory of the renovated military camp. There is a control center equipped with modern means of communication and information, a communication center, and other office premises for organizing high-level combat training and service of troops, operational control of units during the hostilities, as well as ensuring interaction with other military units. The military camp features two- and three-storey residential buildings, a school, and a kindergarten for military personnel and their families.
