Acquaintance with the concept design of the Asgaran Fortress Complex

On February 18, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva reviewed the concept design of the Asgaran Fortress Complex.

The design project for the Asgaran Fortress Complex has been developed based on four key directions: Cultural and Natural Heritage, Infrastructure and Services, Entertainment and Recreation, and Marketing and Promotion. According to the project, the fortress will undergo conservation and reinforcement, archaeological excavations will be carried out, and an open-air historical park will be established.

The project also includes the construction of a residential complex offering various recreational services within the fortress grounds, along with the development of an internal road network for both pedestrians and vehicles. The area is planned to host festivals and cultural events year-round, and relevant infrastructure will be built to support sports, leisure and entertainment, trade, public catering, and other services.
