Acquaintance with repair and restoration works carried out in the Club community center and private houses in the Talish village

On March 18, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughter Arzu Aliyeva visited the Club Community Center in the Talish village of the Tartar district to review the conditions created there. Subsequently, the head of state and the first lady inspected the repair and restoration work carried out in the individual houses in Talish village.

In the first phase, 20 houses in the Talish village were restored and rebuilt. The interiors and facades of the houses were thoroughly renovated, and the roofs were completely removed and replaced. Structural reinforcement work was done on the interior and exterior walls. Major landscaping work was carried out in the yards of each house, individual planting areas were created, and farm storage facilities were constructed. The existing fences of all houses were dismantled and replaced with new ones. The internal communication lines of the houses were also reconstructed. On March 16, as part of the initial phase of the “Great Return” program, 20 families living in temporary settlements in poor conditions and in emergency situations in Baku, Barda, Tartar, Samukh, and Goranboy were resettled in the Talish village.

Later, President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughter Arzu Aliyeva visited the home of a village resident Ayyub Akbarov to review the conditions and met with village residents. During the conversation, the head of state congratulated the villagers on the upcoming holiday and their return to the Talish village.
