Acquaintance of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyeva with the master plan of the city of Fuzuli

On August 23, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyeva were acquainted with the Master Plan of the city of Fuzuli. The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyeva were briefed on the works being carried out and planned in Fuzuli.

The master plan envisions expanding the administrative area of Fuzuli to 1,943 hectares and increasing its population to 50,000 by 2040. To ensure comfortable and modern living conditions, medium and low-rise residential buildings and private houses with backyards will be constructed, additionally, educational, healthcare, cultural, industrial facilities, recreation zones, and other designated areas will be established in the city.

To ensure employment and social services, construction of 9 general and secondary education institutions, 13 preschool education institutions, a vocational education institution, a boarding-type music school, a hospital, a sports and health center, a cultural center, an administrative center, a sports complex, the creation of Victory and Memorial Park, 6 neighborhood parks, a city square, and an eco-park covering more than 150 hectares are planned.
