Limited format meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan in Lachin

On May 27, a limited format meeting was held in Lachin between President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed his satisfaction with his visit to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, emphasizing that this visit serves as another affirmation of the position “Karabakh is Azerbaijan!”. He also extended his congratulations on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day and noted that the repair and reconstruction work carried out in the Lachin district in a short period of time was impressive.

The meeting included a broad exchange of views on expanding economic and trade relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, as well as cooperation in the fields of science, education and high technologies, and student exchange.
