Opening ceremony of a mosque in the village of Sugovushan

On March 18, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of a mosque in the village of Sugovushan of Aghdara district.

The first floor of the mosque, which can accommodate about 100 people at a time, is intended for men, and the second floor is for women. The mosque’s courtyard has been landscaped. Special decorative elements have been used inside the place of worship.
