Acquaintance with the construction work at the Aghdam Mugham Center

On February 18, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva became acquainted with the ongoing construction work at the Aghdam Mugham Center.

The total area of the center, the foundation of which was laid by President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva on May 2, 2023, is 1.4 hectares. On the first floor of the center, a café, cinema hall, library, and two dance studios have been established. The 507-seat concert hall provides all necessary conditions for hosting various cultural events, including mugham evenings. The second-floor houses administrative offices. The center will also feature 14 classrooms, an exhibition hall, a meeting room, a teachers’ lounge, and other facilities.

An open-air amphitheatre with an area of 1,250 square meters has also been built on the premises of the Aghdam Mugham Center. Construction and installation work is nearing completion. Currently, final finishing touches are being carried out in the auditorium and on the exterior of the building, relevant equipment and furniture are being installed.
