Groundbreaking ceremony for Karabakh Stone LLC’s Factory in Araz Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park

On October 3, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the foundation laying ceremony for the factory owned by Karabakh Stone LLC in the Araz Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park, in the Jabrayil district. The head of state laid the foundation for the factory.

Karabakh Stone LLC was registered as a resident of the Araz Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park in July 2024. The company will be engaged in the production of decorative stones (paving stones) and sidewalk curbs for road and various area landscaping on a 3.5-hectare territory of the industrial park.

With an investment volume of 7.8 million manats, the project is expected to create permanent jobs for 95 people. The products to be manufactured at the enterprise, production capacity of which will be 1 million 250 thousand square meters, will be aimed at meeting the needs of the domestic market. The facility, which will use Turkish technology, is planned to start operating in 2025.
