Opening ceremony of the Mehdi Mehdizade Secondary School Building

On October 3, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of a 960-seat secondary school building named after Mehdi Mehdizade in the city of Jabrayil.

The school, whose foundation was laid by President Ilham Aliyev on October 4, 2021, has an area of ​​2.7 hectares and consists of 40 classrooms and 5 administrative rooms. The classrooms have been equipped with all necessary educational materials to ensure a high-quality education for the students. The educational facility also includes chemistry, physics, and biology laboratories, technology and IT rooms, 4 STEAM classrooms, a pre-military training room, a library, assembly and sports halls, and a cafeteria. Internet access, furniture, and other essential equipment in the school meet modern standards. Landscaping has been carried out in the schoolyard, and football, basketball, volleyball, and outdoor playgrounds have been constructed.
