Opening ceremony of the Footwear Manufacturing Plant

On September 19, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the BAFCO Invest Limited Liability Company’s multi-purpose footwear production plant in the Aghdam Industrial Park and launched the plant.

BAFCO Invest LLC was registered as a resident of Aghdam Industrial Park in March 2023. On the 2.5-hectare area of ​​the industrial park, various boots, construction-use boots, and safety shoes with steel toes and soles are manufactured using advanced German technologies. With an investment value exceeding 10 million manats, the facility is expected to employ a total of 120 people. The plant has an annual production capacity of 510,000 pairs of shoes, of which 350,000 will be safety footwear and 160,000 will be polyurethane boots. It is planned that 65% of the produced footwear will be sold in the local market, while 35% will be exported to foreign markets.
