Opening ceremony of the Garabagh Hotel after major repairs and restoration

On July 5, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Garabagh Hotel in the city of Khankendi, following major renovation and restoration work.

The hotel was put into operation in the mid-20th century. After the full restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity as a result of 24-hours anti-terror operation in 2023, renovation and reconstruction of the hotel were initiated under President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions.

Following the reconstruction, the building was restored to its original appearance. In addition, the hotel was given back its former name “Garabagh”. Now brought up to modern standards, the hotel offers every convenience for guests visiting the city of Khankendi. There are rooms of various categories here. A restaurant in the building will also be available to guests. It will also be possible to hold business meetings and events at the hotel.
