Meeting with the relocated residents of the Sus village

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the works carried out in the Sus village of the Lachin district and met with the residents who moved to the village.

In May 1992, when the district was occupied by Armenian armed forces, Sus village was home to 53 families comprising 203 people. The village has been completely rebuilt, and the plan is to resettle a total of 59 families – 214 people. Currently, 20 families – 75 people have already moved into the village. The village covers an area of 25 hectares and features 13 two-room, 28 three-room, 14 four-room, and 4 five-room individual houses. Additionally, a 132-student capacity secondary school and a kindergarten for 50 children have been constructed. For the leisure and recreation of residents, a park and several children’s playgrounds have also been established.
