Opening ceremony of the Kondalanchay Water Reservoir Complex after repair and restoration

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated the opening of the Kondalanchay water reservoir complex in the Fuzuli district after repair and restoration, and launched the complex.

The Kondalanchay-1 reservoir, located on the Kondalanchay River in the Fuzuli district, was originally commissioned in 1962 with a total capacity of 3.9 million cubic meters (usable volume of 3.6 million cubic meters) and a height of 14 meters. As part of the reclamation and irrigation measures in the recently liberated areas, the reservoir has undergone significant renovation work. The primary goal of these efforts was to restore the stability of the dam’s structures and mechanical equipment, ensuring its proper operation and readiness for future use.
