Viewing the destroyed places of Fuzuli city and acquaintance with the city’s Master Plan

On April 25, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev of and President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov visited the destroyed areas of Fuzuli city and reviewed the city’s Master Plan. Initially, the President of Kyrgyzstan was briefed on the destruction and acts of vandalism committed by Armenia in the Fuzuli district over 30 years. It was noted that the Fuzuli Memorial Complex will preserve the ruins of destroyed buildings as they are and will feature Occupation and Victory museums.

The heads of states were informed about the ongoing and upcoming projects in accordance with Fuzuli city’s Master Plan. The Master Plan envisions expanding the administrative area of Fuzuli city to 1943 hectares and increasing its population to 50,000 by 2040. Fuzuli is set to become one of the largest cities in the liberated territories, meeting modern standards and architectural features. Three residential complexes are being built to meet contemporary urban planning requirements. There will be a total of 2,462 apartments in the complexes. According to the Master Plan, a Central park will be created on an area of ​​approximately 22.5 hectares. Additionally, a 180-bed Fuzuli District Central Hospital will be constructed, equipped with the latest medical technology to ensure high-quality examination and treatment.
