Acquaintance with the project of the Central District Hospital to be built in Fuzuli

On March 12, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reviewed the project of the Central District Hospital that will be constructed in Fuzuli.

According to the Master Plan, the new hospital will have 180 beds and will be built on a 4.5-hectare site. The construction of the hospital will involve Kazakhstan’s “BI Group” and several Azerbaijani companies. The hospital will house an administrative building, reception, therapy, cardiology, neurology, surgery, traumatology-orthopedics, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, infectious diseases, anesthesiology-resuscitation, dialysis departments, and an operating unit.

The outpatient service section of the hospital will include a consultative polyclinic, a children’s polyclinic, radiological diagnostics, functional diagnostics, physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation departments, a clinical diagnostic laboratory, and a pharmacy. In addition to the hospital, a Hygiene and Epidemiology Center, an Emergency Medical Station, and a Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy Center will also be built on the same site.
