Acquaintance with the Master Plan of Fuzuli city

On March 12, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev got acquainted with the Master Plan of Fuzuli city.

The Master Plan envisions that by 2040, the administrative area of Fuzuli city will expand to 1,943 hectares, with a population reaching 50,000. To ensure comfortable and modern living conditions, medium and low-rise residential buildings, individual houses with yards, and various zones for education, healthcare, culture, production, and recreation facilities will be constructed.

To support employment and social services, the city plans to build 9 general and secondary education institutions, 13 preschool education facilities, a vocational education institution, a boarding music school, a hospital, a sports and wellness center, a cultural center, an administrative center, and a sports complex, additionally, the construction of a Victory and Memorial Park, 6 neighborhood parks, a city square, and an eco-park covering more than 150 hectares.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was also informed about the destruction and acts of vandalism committed by Armenia in the Fuzuli district during the 30 years of occupation.
