Acquaintance with the Special Purpose Equipment that will be Used in the Liberated Territories

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on December 9, viewed the special purpose equipment, which will be used in the liberated territories purchased by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. President Ilham Aliyev was informed that 100 fire trucks of “KamAZ” brand and 50 special-purpose fire engines of “Iveco” brand were purchased by the Ministry of Emergency Situations for fire protection in the liberated territories. 9 İveco vehicles have already been imported, the import of 41 is planned for the first quarter of 2023.

For carrying out special rescue operations, transportation of goods and auxiliary materials in the liberated territories during technogenic disasters, natural disasters, and traffic accidents, the Ministry of Emergency Situations purchased 5 Nissan Patrol cars, 11 Lada Niva Travel cars, and 6 – GAZelle cars (of which 3 have been delivered, and the rest will be delivered before the end of this year). 4 modern “GCS (Global Clearance Solutions)-200” mine-clearing robots with a diesel engine and remote control purchased by the Ministry will be used in the liberated territories for demining areas planted with anti-personnel and anti-tank mines. Among the presented equipment there are also “Ural” brand cars. These cars are to be used to transport goods and perform other work in the event of a fire.
