Foundation of the Dashalti Mosque

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva laid the foundation of the Dashalti Mosque in Shusha on November 7. Besides restoring our religious and spiritual monuments that the enemy destroyed during the occupation, we also built new ones in the liberated territories. By this act on the eve of Victory Day, President Ilham Aliyev sends another message to the world, “We do not just renovate our lands and create modern infrastructure for the return of our former internally displaced persons, but also clean the traces of vandalism carried out by Armenians against religious and cultural monuments on these lands and possess our sacred values.”
