Foundation of a New Mosque in the Hadrut Settlement

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Hadrut settlement and Tugh village of Khojavand district on October 9. During the visit, the head of state laid a foundation for a new mosque in the Hadrut settlement. The minaret of the mosque to be built for the local population in the Hadrut settlement will be 26 meters. A women’s prayer room will be located on the second floor of the mosque, which will accommodate 250 people simultaneously. Unique decorative elements will be used on the facade of the mosque.
