Groundbreaking ceremony for the first residential building in Aghdam city

On May 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the first residential building to be constructed in Aghdam city.

The design of the building involves collaboration between the U.S.-based company Gensler, Azerbaijan’s “Azərbaycan inkişaf” company, and Türkiye’s “URAL mühendislik”. The façade will incorporate Aghdam’s locally sourced white stone along with elements of European architecture. The apartments will have one, two, three, four and five rooms.
