Tree-planting ceremony and review of works at the Aghdam City Forest Park

On May 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in a tree-planting ceremony at the Aghdam City Forest Park, planting a nettle tree – one of the symbols of Azerbaijan.

The forest park, designed to serve the residents and guests of Aghdam, will cover an area of 125 hectares. The restored Aghdam Canal will flow through the city and discharge into a newly created lake within the park.
