Acquaintance with the Restoration and Reconstruction Works in Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva got acquainted with the restoration and reconstruction works in Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque on May 13.

Like other historical and religious monuments, the Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque, built in 1768-1769, fell victim to Armenian vandalism during the occupation.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation carries out the restoration work of the mosque.
