Opening ceremony of the Military Trophy Park

On April 12, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the Military Trophy Park in Baku. During the opening, the Head of State was presented with the first visitor ticket to the Military Trophy Park.

A day after the official recognition of Azerbaijan’s Victory in the Patriotic War – on November 11 – the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, during his meeting with military personnel, announced his plans to display the destroyed and captured enemy military equipment. A portion of this equipment was showcased during the Victory Parade held on December 10, and President Ilham Aliyev proposed the establishment of the Military Trophy Park. Extensive large-scale work was swiftly completed, and a unique open-air park was created in a short period of time.
