Meeting with the residents of Khojavend city and eponymous village

On February 25, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and Arzu Aliyeva met with residents of Khojavend city and Khojavend village. The Head of State congratulated the residents on their return to their native lands, noting that they had endured many years of difficult displacement, but had come through this ordeal with dignity.

President Ilham Aliyev stated that full control has been established over all sovereign territories of Azerbaijan, separatism has been put to an end, and justice has been restored. He noted that reconstruction efforts and the Great Return are currently underway, and that infrastructure and living conditions in the liberated territories are being rapidly improved.

Residents expressed their satisfaction with the created conditions and stated that returning to Khojavend was a great happiness for them.
